The loves of my life...

.

January (or thereabouts), 1981...could have been December 1980.  We didn't put a date on the picture, but that's pretty close.

My gal, and my Airman...

Those two are tight.  They've been hangin' together a long, long time.

Yeah, I fired up the scanner again...

  1. Thanks, Red, and Jim. It is one of my favorite pictures...just never got around to scanning it.

    Good memories.

  2. That is a great photo. The relationship between a mother and son is pretty special - kind of like between a father and daughter.

  3. Moogie: In those days I was a semi-pro photographer (as a sideline). Weddings, portraits, little league ball teams, class reunions, etc. That was what I was going for. It is probably my favorite photo from those days.

It is fading, and needs some digital work that I do not know how to do.

    Staci: Hint, Hint, Hint!!!

Buck: Yes, they are. Have I mentioned that Dean never slept, and wanted to nurse every hour? Poor Pam...it was a glorious, yet taxing time for a young couple...and especially for the young wife.

Lou: I would not know about that Father/Daughter thing. But, having read your work for a while, I imagine that it's pretty much the same. I am just grateful to God that he did not give me a daughter. I am quite sure that I would have committed murder by now, and would be enjoying the fine hospitality at Angola.
