Halloweems!

.

Okay, if you've been hanging out around this pitiful Titanic for very long, you know that I DO NOT LIKE ME NO HALLOWEEMS!

I GETS SCARRED WITH ALL THEM HAINTS SNEAKIN' AROUND THE HOOD!!!

But, Great Nephew Tucker (who The Mrs. keeps care of 3 or 4 days a week) is all geared up, and not too scary!

He's goin' as a duck.

Sure hope his Mama puts some britches on him, and keeps him clear of lakes, rivers, and reservoirs, though...

So anyway....BOO!

Tucker is ONE YEARS OLD TODAY!!!

.

Yep, Great Nephew, Tucker, turns the calendar on his first year on this very day.

I've shown y'all pictures of him, and videos of him and all...

But, in a previous V-logg, I casually mentioned that I might try to scare the livin' crap out of him, and make him cry with my fancy new Twist-a-Light that The Mrs. Santa brought me for Christmas.

(I just love screwing around with animals and small children...it's a character flaw, I know...)

So, I put my Twist-a-Light around my head in standard alien looking fashion, and took to the job.

So, how did it come out?

(I apologize for the shaky camera deal...I was crawling on my belly like a reptile with a Twist-a-Light wrapped around my head, and an iPhone in my hand.  I did my best.)

I just love that boy!  I think if I did it in a really dark room when he was already kinda' scared, I'd have got him to scream real loud, and dookie his pants.

I just couldn't get the room dark enough!

"Andy, your knees are BALD!"

.

Hey y'all!  Hugs, kisses, yada yada yada...

I stink as a blogger, and blog buddy lately.  Well, stink more than usual, I guess.

So, last Saturday was a glorious day, and I spent most of it working on my crappy looking place.  Odd thing is, when I got finished, it looked just as crappy.

It looks like crap.

Still.

Anyway, The Mrs. noticed something.  Since my quite handsome legs had not seen the light of day in months and months, I put on my shorts to work outside.  And sure enough, my knees are bald.

See?

Bald.

I gots hair on my manly, handsome legs EVERYWHERE except my knees.  And, I figured it out.  This job I took a while back requires that I wear a uniform with polyester pants.  It must be that polyester rubs all the hair off your knees from bending, walking, and sittin' on your butt for hours.

Pretty interesting, huh?

Yeah, I thought so.

Hey, lookit!  I had told y'all about how The Mrs. is keeping care of our little great nephew for a little while.  Here he is.

His name is Tucker.  That's a fine name for a child. (He's a little white baby).

He's beautiful, and very sweet.  You can see in the picture that his little right ear didn't open up good, or sumpin', but Doc says it's more common than you might think, and it can get fixed later on.

Been a long time since we had a tiny one around Andy's Place.  Truth is, I'm kinda' enjoying it.

Gotta love the shirt, too.

He's cute.  Well, that's all...I'm just really slammed these days with business, work, family, etc.  I'll get back around to posting more pretty soon.  I know y'all can't barely wait...

Ya' know, one rule of blogging is that when you really got nothing else, post pictures of babies, and sexy legs.

Check!

The loves of my life...

.

January (or thereabouts), 1981...could have been December 1980.  We didn't put a date on the picture, but that's pretty close.

My gal, and my Airman...

Those two are tight.  They've been hangin' together a long, long time.

Yeah, I fired up the scanner again...

Rarely does a 21 second video tug at your heart like this one.

.

If you do not watch one other video on the worldwide computer today, you need to watch this one.  It is only 21 seconds long, but it is truly moving.  It took my breath away.

SmartAlek!!!!

So, Future Daughter In Law (FDIL) had not seen me since I went burr.

She is standing on the side porch visiting with The Mrs. when I round the corner trying to finish up yard work before going to my nephew's wedding tonight.

(I'll swear, my kinfolk just keep getting married.  Actually, I really like the last three matches...this one included.)

There is a devilish look in FDIL's eyes...

Me:  "If you laugh, I'm gonna' slap you!"

FDIL:  "Okay, I'm not laughing."

Me:  "No, I'm just kidding!"

FDIL:  "Okay.  Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

That gal is a "keeper."

Look, I'll see y'all tomorrow.  I MUST finish up mowing my weeds, and get to my nephew's wedding.  I like him.  He's a fine young man.  And, I like his bride.

But, I know that people (especially my family) are going to point at me and laugh.

Awwwww...

Our good buddy, Paul The Fireguy, sent just the sweetest computer letter.  Now, Paul is a Christian, just like me.  Well, he's not a Christian just like me.  I mean, he does a better job of it all than I do...but we believe the same stuff.

Matthew 18:20

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

   Does this count?

Ain't that just precious?  Thanks, Paul!
