.
But, I think this is probably not a good idea.
Nope!
This business is about two miles from Andy's Place.

Just Andy's Place... Just what Andy believes, what Andy thinks, where Andy lives, who (and what) Andy loves, and who Andy IS! ...IT'S ALL ABOUT ME, DANGIT!!!
"I got my income tax AND my social security!" Hmmm. Those words sound pretty danged familiar.
ReplyDeleteThat's irritating.
ReplyDeleteSaw that one a little earlier. I guess it's a bad takeoff on Madea. Also strange considering the location of the car lot.
ReplyDeleteDangit, it was supposed to prompt me to change accounts.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the problem with it? People are going to remember that commercial for the rest of their life.
ReplyDeleteLong as it scrubs clean the image Paul posted about Behar and Helen Thomas, doin' shots and playin' Twister...
ReplyDeleteThis is so wrong on so many levels. But, it will be hard to forget the advertisement. Even bad ads are sometimes good.
ReplyDeleteI'll be a good boy and not comment on what I'm thinking, just LMAO!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly. Something.
ReplyDeleteHappy February.
People would actually buy cars from a place like this, especially a place that spells "cars" with a "k"? But the commercial is fantastic. Awful, but fantastic, like in a "Plan 9 from Outer Space" way.
ReplyDeleteAnd I see I'm not the only one who first thought about Madea after watching.
I'm with Paul. It's brilliant. A social satire plus a sales pitch. And people will remember it. Can't get any more effective than that in about 60 seconds.
ReplyDeleteNoel Daniels in Brandon, MS did a commercial with a ventriloquist dummy named Little Boris or something like that. Every claimed to hate the commercial and would never buy from Noel. Noel was the number one Toyota dealer in the Southeast for a while, then he stopped those commercials. He is no longer the number one Toyota dealer.
ReplyDeleteSomewhere between Chris Rock and Flip Wilson...
