And, his boss is working on getting him on the shift he really wants, permanently.

    It is, Kartman. Been working hard. Just know it's gonna pay off.

    But, it's even better than that. I don't know how long you've been visiting (and, thank you for that btw), but I've talked in the past about how much I LOVE what I'm doing. It's not really like work.

    I really like what I do too. I retired Jan 1. My son started talking about wanting to hire me part time but I don't know. I would miss my morning golf.

    Kartman, I'm iz happy that you love your work. Ya' know, a lot of guys can't get used to that. Obviously you adjust well to change.

    Thanks to all the rest of y'all. I'm not so much happy about the extra coins as I am that I've found something I truly enjoy doing...and that my employer appreciates my efforts. A lot of folks never experience that. Sadly.

    I just got a very good review from my work, but the raise won't come until November. It'll be a pretty substantial one, though. Too bad I'll still be working nights and weekends for a while. Oh well.

    Woot! Woot! Happy Dance! Good things happen in pairs....I got a promotion too (like I don't have enough work as it is!!) Still working on my shift....it's currently 24/7 online..... isn't technology grand! :) Congrats Andyman!
