    I lean towards natural. I've seen big flocks of birds do stuff like that around here.

    I've always marveled at stuff like that... There isn't any one bird in charge (that we know of) but the whole gathering begins to act like one coherent organism. Cool, if you ask me.

    I say natural. The starlings around here do just that.

    A small favor: a blog friend is trying to get a postcard from every state for a project sge's doing with her kids. She's up to 30 so far. Of course, I contributed RI.
